I'm excited to announce that my latest album, "Wistful Tendrils," is now available! Conceptualized as a soundtrack for an unwritten fairy tale, "Wistful Tendrils" brings together original compositions in a neo-Renaissance style and new arrangements of music from all over the world. These arrangements include a solo guitar rendition of Antonio Carlos Jobim's beautiful "Retrato em Branco e Preto," a flamenco-ized "You Don't Know What Love Is" featuring Adrian Volovets on tenor saxophone, a medley of the jazz standard "'Round Midnight" and "Sunrise, Sunset" from "Fiddler on the Roof," with Adrian on violin, flute, and cello, and many others, while the original compositions all share the neo-Renaissance/fairy tale atmosphere.
I'm especially excited to share my rendition of "Invenção Em 7 1/2," a gorgeous piece by the Brazilian guitarist Baden Powell that has never been transcribed or recorded by anyone since!
I was also lucky enough to work with the French artist Jessica Albert, who created the album art. Her paintings are incredibly striking and fit the theme of the album perfectly.
I'd like to thank everyone who has supported me over the years and in turn made this album possible!
