2014 Flamenco Guitarathon

It has been four years since I've performed on the stage at Sundin Hall... and I am very excited to be back as part of the 2014 Flamenco Guitarathon this Friday at 8PM!

This performance, which will feature local guitarists Michael Hauser, Ben Abrahamson, Michael Ziegahn, Trevor May, and Diego Rowan-Martin, is dedicated to the recently deceased flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucia, who is considered to be one of the most influential guitarists of all time.

I will be playing Farruca de Lucia, a piece composed by Paco, as well as debuting two original compositions in the zapateado and tangos flamenco forms. I'll also be joining Michael Ziegahn for a sevillanas that he composed.
